re: #11 Sharmuta

I have cheated a few times, and used old art books and garage sale picture frames for art about the house. A friend once drew a picture in pastels as a birthday gift for me. I bought a frame with a cheesy print at a store, and popped the back off and put her piece in its place. There are ways to get around expensive framing on smaller pieces, but on big pieces, I prefer to pay the professionals.

I save, and buy calendars for the art. I cut out the pictures and frame them. What’s nice is that you can get a portfolio of related art, subject or composer, so it creates a nice, consistent feel for a room or wall.
