I love supporting microbrews and local breweries. Here in Florida we have a group of really great breweries which I’ve visited before. But nothing beats going to a selective liquor store and trying a new microbrew from somewhere in the U.S.

Left Hand Brewing Co. is one of my favorite non-regional beer companies.

The Big Thing, right now, is IPAs. How much hops can you get in one bottle? I’ve got some brewer friends who are going to extreme lengths to hop their beers. At some point, it gets to be a bit much, eh? Same with larger brewers like Dog Fish Head. They are hopping some of their beers to the point that they can be used as antibiotics.
