as aside, I guess oil will take a jump in price ( + $1.60 to start today already), obama put a hold on any new drillings for 6 months, which is smart. But we all know the speculators…they’ll use this as an excuse to jack the price up for the coming summer ebven though putting a hold on any new drilling today doesn’t effect anything realistically on the global oil market for at least 6 months to a year..sigh..but all they need is a hint for them to jack the price per barrell…such a rotten dishonest game they play..and we pay the price.

What was ‘lost’ there has not affected the price at all. In fact, prices at the pump have been falling since this started

What DOES affect the price (seasonally) is refineries having to switch from ‘winter blends” to “summer bliends” and back. They can’t store old/ unused seasonal stuff beyond several months, so that goes back to production.
