re: #207 freetoken

Over the past couple of years I’ve been of the growing opinion that we ought to get rid of the Senate. It is an outdated institution. Rather, replace them with a Board of Governors (made up literally of all the governors of the States) whose function would be to sit only for the really big stuff: constitutional amendments, impeachments, confirming USSC candidates, etc.

Then, increase the House to 535 members to allow for the growth in population, give voting rights to the the Reps from DC and any other territory, in order to be truly a representative form of government.

We can keep the electoral college, but now it would be 535+50 and the increased size would probably keep things on the even keel.

I actually like the Seante and its Anti-Majoritarianism. I feel it does in fact protect the people of the smaller states from being bossed around too much by those states with large populations. Given the sheer diversity of America, strong anti-majority checks are needed.
