This is an all too common event. Me, sitting at the computer, watching a massive manhunt come to an end, reading comments on LGF. I used to only do this for Political debates. Its a weird feeling. Too too common.

What’s wrong with society? Is this an at large reaction to modernity? Or is this just inevitable?

Eh. This sort of thing has been going on since Jesse James, the Younger brothers, Bonnie and Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, Al Capone. Folks breathlessly read the newsrags, slapped down ten cents for the lurid novels. People took picnic lunches to watch Civil War battles. Sherman had really, really bad things to say about reporters…we are not that different, it’s just the tools have changed.
