Senator Kennedy is dying, whether he has a short-term recovery or not. Obama’s victory is a huge win for the Kennedy clan, who chose Obama as their candidate in the Kennedys’ struggle with the Clintons for control of the Democratic Party nationally. At least for now, the Kennedys are triumphant.

Senator Kennedy has lived to see that triumph. It may well be his last harrah.

No his last hurrah was to get his niece into the Senate.
