re: #24 SanFranciscoZionist

I have a question for the Christians on LGF (this was previously discussed with various members of my father’s parish yesterday while we had post-Mass drinks).

Pogo.com has a whole thing where you can dress up a little online paper doll called a ‘mini’. They release different outfits and accessories and backgrounds for them, and subscribers pay with tokens earned through games playing.

In among their Easter bonnets and egg-hunt backgrounds this year was something described as ‘Historic Tomb’, which is a little cave with a discarded shroud left lying on a slab. Yes, for just 15,000 tokens, you can put your mini in Jesus’ empty tomb!!

This struck me as tasteless. One of the ladies from the parish thought it was nice. Everyone else was too confused to comment.

Thoughts?

I will admit that my girlfriends and I love Pogo. We play cards together on there. At this time my mini has a full bunny costume on with a T-Rex’s head coming down and snatching me up. Would you like me to purchase the “Historic Scene” too, and see what comments I receive? I have million of tokens. If there are any comments at all on minis they are mostly on outfits not scenes. Plus you have to win a competition for anyone to see your mini and your only on for a minute.
