The new GOP pledge:

“I pledge alliegence to Good ole Grover and the Articles of Confederation.
And to this theocracy for which the tea sac-ers stand,
one nation, ruled by Jesus, liberty of contract;
with debt and idiocy for all.”

I’m calling all these GOP duds “anti-constitutionalists.”…bear with me, but originally we had the articles of confederation which created such a weak and paralyzed centralized government that the founders did an end run around it, called the convention in 1787, and drafted a more effective (sort of) structure of government.

Now Perry, Bachmann, and these other twits enslaved to Grover (not the Seaseme Street Grover), want to basically shrink the government to where it almost doesn’t exist just like, in my opinion, the AOC had it. Therefore they are against a stronger central Hamiltonian, and possibly even a Jeffersonian government, and want to rewrite the constitution into a model more akin to it’s ineffective predecessor.
