If being trailed by adults then that is a different situation, my opinion was based on her being alone at sea and at the mercy of criminals.

As far as sports, that is a different concern, but there too it is reasonable for the
state to enforce reasonable safety practices when children are involved.

I do hope you are not one who is opposed to dodge ball for kids.

Safety practices are the concern of the sports officials, school officials and others as may apply. There is plenty of enforcement on negligence by the legal community. The State has absolutely no business in this business of regulating kids activities, none at all.
