That is such fucking bullshit. I hope she has learned the phrase “I want a lawyer”.

She’s learned a couple of lessons and so have her friends. They charged her based only on the word of another person at the party so there’s a chance the prosecutor won’t want to fight it out for the next year. It’s a class c misdemeanor ($500 fine max). My original thought was to drag it out as long as possible to make sure it costs them more than the $500 they might make off of it but I changed my mind. I’m meeting with my attorney next week with the expectation that he’ll get it to go away.
