Change these 90 million people from unlikely voters to actual voters, and all the billionaires in the world wouldn’t be able to get Mitt Romney elected.

Which is why mandatory voting would all but solve America’s political problems overnight. Require voting, and there is simply no way a major party can run on a platform that is so nakedly harmful to the nation, no matter how many powerful allies they have.

As it is, though, the GOP’s best bet is to have Romney and Ryan simply say nothing at all. Refuse all debates, refuse all public appearances, and await the election. The media, the most powerful entity in the US, can win it for them all on its own, and it very well might.
