The US moved to electrocutions and lethal injections, away from hanging.

The only reason for hanging is for public display.

There is something more barbaric going on here than simply a death penalty for abortion.

Williamson is playing some deep fantasies here, perhaps.

I’m guessing he picked hanging because that’s what the nurse from Kenya was sentenced to.

Nairobi - A Kenyan nurse was sentenced to death by hanging on Thursday after being found guilty of carrying out an abortion on a young woman that led to her death.

Of course Williamson expanded on that barbaric sentence and said it should apply to all women who’ve had abortions. Also missed was the fact that it was Kenyan law that led to the woman’s death in the first place, because it bans abortions in all but life threatening circumstances, which ironically created a life threatening circumstance. The fact that making abortion illegal causes unsafe abortions is totally lost on the pro life zealots, who think banning a medical procedure that has a real demand will magically prevent people from seeking it out anyways.
