Reminds me of the horror stories I read about JC Penny’s when a Randian took over and decided he was going to turn one of America’s few remaining bulwarks of simply living into a high-priced candy store, alongside setting the departments against each other under the assumption that that would lead to greater sales rather than the destructive infighting that destroyed the brand.
