Problem is that so many of the cases being overturned today are from decades ago. By now, the people involved have either retired or died. And the most those who came after them can do is offer an apology, because they refuse to take responsibility for fear that it will help any civil cases brought against them.

True. There is/was a long time period for some of these cases and new found technologies.

I’m just frustrated that this stuff happens and people still go on about wanting death penalties.
