Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Felicitous Festivus, Contented Kwanzaa and a hearty Bah! Humbug! to all of you. (Eggs with thick bacon for breakast, tortelloni with pesto and bockwurst for holiday dinner.)

Thirteen versions of A Christmas Carol on DVD, and last night I watched the pilot and the first two episodes of Star Trek DS9 — having just finished binge-watching the entire series. And maybe I’ll just do it again! I did watch the Santa Clause, so there’s that.

For me, this year it was watching Mad Max: Fury Road.

‘Cause nothing says Christmas like car chases in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with characters named Immortan Joe, Imperator Furiosa and Doof Warrior.
