A bigot may tack the word “science” onto anything he damn well pleases, but that does not make it science. Intelligent Design is touted as “science” by it’s promoters, but it surely is not. Consider the hit list of religious & political ideologies, and outright quackery, falsely packaged as “science”:

1. scientific socialism
2. intelligent design
3. Global Warming
4. Chariots of the Gods
5. Velikovsky’s “Worlds in Collision”
6. Christian Science
7. Naturopathy
8. Astrology

You left out my very favorite: ear candling.
