ATLANTA — Former President Jimmy Carter said Sunday he hopes to be buried in front of his home in Plains, the southwest Georgia town where he and his wife were born.

Don’t worry, he’ll get to lie in state at the Capitol, then at the Carter Center in Atlanta, before they finally plant him. Even for Plains, the front yard is pretty damn tacky.
