re: #208 KGxvi

I’m cautiously optimistic about Florida and North Carolina, slightly less so about Georgia, but I highly doubt any of those will be called before California closes at 8 pm PST

So the weird thing is, except in states where they cannot count mail ballots ahead of time (PA, kinda) record mail voting could in fact mean much FASTER calls.

If Biden was winning by 2% in these states, yeah, it would be the usual slog. But if he’s winning by 7%, or 10%, or more, and the mail ballots dump into the system immediately, states that usually are a mess may end up being easy to call within an hour.

edit - I’ve been skeptical of the “it’ll take a week!” crowd from the beginning, and it’s really getting to the point where I’m starting to see the long-count cheerleaders as carrying water for the Trump campaign. It’ll take forever, so there must be something wrong with it. Or if it doesn’t take forever, then the Dems are cheating. It’s just trying to discredit results they don’t like.
