It appears that every single person who loved the book and has seen the trailers knows that Hollywood has failed them again. I’ve seen no dissent on this topic anywhere.

Hollywood has taken a book that looks at zombies (and the societal consequences) in very novel ways (Max Brooks patterned WWZ on Studs Terkel’s The Good War) and turned it into a fucking generic zombie movie to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
