Over 50 years I’ve voted for a handful of shitheads, because their opponents were total fucking nightmares. The key to peace of mind for an active Democrat is to maintain very low expectations.

I’ve voted for a small handful of Republicans that were actually better people than the Blue Dogs they were running against. It’s not cut and dried in some parts of this nation - if both candidates are pro-forced birth, what then? Do you refuse to vote and ride your purity pony home or do you vote for the one that will do the lesser amount of damage?
