OK: a couple of questions about this NAFTA stuff:

1. CAN Trump do this by EO? I thought NAFTA was a formal “treaty” which needs (?) Senate approval to be abrogated?

2. Has anybody - in the WH or not - thought through the consequences (OK, it’s Trump: rhetorical question)?

Whatever “bad” effects NAFTA may or may not have had on some.any segments of the economy, do the Trumpistas TRULY believe that the US - largest economy in the world or not - can really dictate the terms of its international trade position to its own advantage in each and every case? Without any serious blowback?
THIS is frightening: I know we were afraid Trump would start WWIII; who knew it would be a trade war?
