Well I think you’d have to break down that crew somewhat. What is motivating Pelosi, near as I can tell, is sheer evil - she wants to KILL the Republicans (not literally, politically) - she’s gonna get re-elected from her district the way a Kennedy would in Massachusetts, so she’s NOT doing it for her own re-election chances. Maybe she wants to show that the Speaker of the House can make things happen. Strangely enough, I think the only real brake on her political ambition/greed/need is Pesident Obama. There will be NO HEARINGS, NO INVESTIGATIONS by Holder or by any congressionally mandated commission if Obama says “NO”. What bothers me more than anything else is that so far at least Obama is saying “go for it.”
Why HE would want to do that I have no idea - he’ll only be President until 2016 (only being a relative term here) and the same crap will be pulled on him when he’s out of office. But he is INCREDIBILY IMMATURE and that fact may not yet have sunk in.
