I didn’t bring any of my kids to work. Mainly because they all have jobs of their own to go to. :)

The last time I participated in this blow-off day and total waste of productive time and company resources, my kids were teenagers. My daughters got bored very quickly and went off and spent the rest of the day at the mall. In fact the only reason they came in the first place was (1) a day off from school (2) I worked right next door to the mall.

My son took the day very seriously. He gathered up his portfolio and spend the day with the graphics design team.
