re: #210 HappyWarrior
That’s what I wanted to know reading this. Instead just crap from people who claim they think Trump’s not perfect but are encouraged to support him because of his critics. Yeah okay because that makes logical sense.
Unfortunately, when it comes to the disgusting variety of highly-polarized political discourse we have in this country, the “Trump sucks, but I support him because mean liberal critics…” routine does make sense - crap though it is. For all the “buyer’s remorse” legendry left-leaners love to try to promulgate online, it’s another thing entirely to get voters (or anybody really) to admit that they were deluded fools for voting for Trump - whatever their motivation - and the convenient “but critics!” dodge provides an easy out for these folks. Even if it is almost-certainly more common in the media (and on the ‘Net) than in reality.
But yeah, what exactly is “fair”/”unfair” criticism of Donald Trump as POTUS? Policy? Efficiency? Ethics? Credibility? Personality? Political skills? Trump comes up short in every category when argued on facts: pissy grumping about the tone of the critiques is about all his defenders have left.
