This is fucking nuts. Senators trying to pass a bill that they KNOW is awful, that they DO NOT want to become law, on the condition that the House promises not to pass the same bill.

And the response from the House? “We’ll see.”

Why not 1) spend some time in committee working on something, or 2) re-pass the ACA, but call it Trumpcare - I guarantee he’ll sign it - or 3) give up?>
