I salute you for at least giving the sport a chance (unlike the majority of fans of the major team sports over here). I am not a fan of the Dutch, but I spent many years living about 50 miles from that country and attended their national team’s first game of the 2000 European Championship at Amsterdam ArenA. I am quite sure that anyone who experiences even a smidgen of the intensity for the sport in that country (as you did) would have the open-minded attitude toward it that you display.
