I’m glad he’s finally out and happy about it. I hold nothing against Foley personally. I was disturbed by his hypocrisy when he was still closeted though. Just as I’m upset with Weiner’s virtual infidelity. He fucked up.

Apparently he was an alcoholic on top of it. After he left the Congress he checked into rehab for awhile. It was then he announced he was gay.

The experience, quite frankly, I think saved him and more importantly, a lot of young men.

The other thing Foley did that Weiner didn’t do, or at least doesn’t seem to have done as far as we know, is do any of this sexting with women who worked with him.
