Well, I only called for a magazine restriction, not registration, and then only for semi-auto. It is, in truth, something of a slippery slope, a phenomenon that abounds in this kind of discussion.
It’s really quite striking how many mass shooters brought shotguns but ended up not using them. I wonder if the heavy recoil is a deterrent to these often dweebish types, especially compared to a 5.56 rifle.

Shotguns are underrated as fighting weapons, mostly because they are short range weapons. Shotguns are Kings in close, but overmatched once things get out 30-40 yards or so.
