With respect, I don’t know if Trump can change that much. And he’d be at risk of his fan base accusing him of “selling out” if he were to moderate his style too greatly.

I’ll take it one step further and say that Trump is inherently unable to moderate his style. You can’t expect the leopard to lose his spots.
