The race itself is almost an afterthought

The lead up,, the socialization, the partying and yes, the “hats” as well as the venue makes it an amazing experience

One of those “Bucket List” type of things

If I was there I would probably feel different about the Derby. Watching it on TV, however, seems entirely pointless.

It’s just not my thing, I guess.
