I want to see some polls conducted entirely after the Brexit vote. His performance in Scotland was simply horrifying, nothing but glib indifference to the harm done to many people’s life savings and glee that it might be good for him personally in terms of making Turnberry golf vacations more attractable / affordable.

A market correction like this and a terrorist attack like the nightclub shooting in Orlando should nominally play into his perceived strengths with voters, but his handling of these events has been so crass and unpresidential that I’ll be surprised if he actually gets a bump from the Leave vote. Instead he may well crater further.

I’m actually a little bit worried at this point that he’s crashing too early and that the Dump Trump movement may succeed, replacing him with someone who is just as despicable but better at hiding it.
