The hotel’s version of events is not even remotely plausible. An audio analysis put the average rate of fire at 9 rounds a second, times 40 seconds that’s 360 bullets fired. Yet the total number of people injured and killed was almost 600, many hit multiple times. An indeterminate number of rounds also had to have struck nobody because the dude was just spraying the field from 400 yards away.

Of course not. The only place security gets to a room in 40 seconds is a brothel. Vegas hotels are monitored, but not that well.
