My point being - folks should not be fooled by any “I didn’t write this” statements. He is responsible for this; and must have agreed with it, whether he actually wrote it or not, or he wouldn’t have allowed it to be published under his name.

And ultimately, that’s what matters. I don’t know if he’s said point black blank(! argh!), that what was written was wrong and that it was wrong to have published it and that he was sorry that it’s happened. If he has, I’d consider it more water under the bridge. I’m under the impression though, that he hasn’t accepted responsibility.

And that disappoints me. Because he’s doing damage to libertarianism (with a small l) and making us look like a bunch of bigots who are looking to sneak evil thoughts and beliefs under the mantle of ‘constitutionalism’ and ‘small government’. And that’s so not what libertarianism is about. :(
