It’s quite possible that some people will lose their employer-based coverage in the short term as a result of healthcare reform.

I think this may have a long-term benefit though in the sense that it will make it perfectly clear that, at the end of the day, most employers don’t really give a shit about their employees beyond what they’re required to do by law.
