Even if you had the middle and lower class people with you, the military firepower is overwhelming against the middle and lower class, at worst it would be stomped out like a bug pretty much immediately, or be one of those long, dragged out insurgency affairs like Iraq or Afghanistan.

The only way such a revolution would be winnable for practical purposes would be if the powers that be are so way outta line that the military chooses against the powers that be. And that would take a lot.

That is what is so sickening about seeing the wingnuts becoming bolder and bolder in their secessionist and revolutionary treasonous rhethoric. They will most likely not stand a chance once they cross the line where the government will put its foot down swiftly and harshly, making their doomsday prophecies about Christians wingnuts being persecuted prosecuted practically self-fulfilling.

I don’t know if they are so utterly disconnected with reality that it is what they really believe, or if it is some top-level-wingnut plan to destabilize not only the United States but other places in the Northern hemisphere as well. Because like it or not, their boldness is spreading. Like what happened last Sunday here in Sweden:

Just so you get the picture, those bangs you hear is not police teargas, it is explosives brought by the SMR (Swedish Resistance Movement, basically Nazis). Several police officers were injured in the SMR attack on the peaceful demonstration. And there is another demonstration, this time in several parts of the country, due for this weekend. So any positive thoughts and/or prayers to appropriate deities would be appreciated.

And yes, I have seen wingnuts in the US come to the defence of the SMR, claiming how their concerns and freedom of speech is being stomped upon (sic(!)).

I don’t think it’s going to be about firepower —it’s going to “who controls the electricity”.
