Her speech yesterday may signal the one thing she can do that Obama couldn’t: Make a speech to the American people to drive policies.

She didn’t have to make that speech yesterday. In fact, we were all thinking she needed to defend the Clinton Foundation. Instead, the speech she gave not only changed the conversation, but it is still the topic we need to be discussing in this country. She did it with facts, and in the process shined a halogen stadium light on the white supremacy in Trump’s campaign and in America.

I think she’s a lot less afraid of talking to Americans about what is going on. She may be an introvert like a lot of us, but I think she knows that sometimes the only way to solve a problem is to get in front of everyone.
