Looking through some of the articles at pew research, it seems like one trend is younger people enjoying the ritual and family time of going to church, but privately don’t have the same beliefs as their parents. So it’s the routine and structure that is appealing, not necessarily the actual church and religious aspects. That makes sense, it also might help explain those less full parking lots on Sundays.
