Now granted, they’re supposed to be controlled and not uncontrolled, but not burning the forests regularly is part of why we have wildfires. Out here on the windy prairie, we do controlled burns of preserved prairie lands periodically. They post big signs in the area telling people not to freak out and to be careful driving nearby.
