If being a God-fearing, white, American dad is fascist, then I am still not a fascist, because while I am all of those things, the one thing I’m not is an authoritarian control freak who wishes to demand that others live according to my values.

If you’re afraid of your religion’s god, you’re in an abusive sect, and it’s time to change sects/religions or leave religion behind.
