OT: I got my Census thing about a month ago. Worried that I might be sent to the FEMA camps if I didn’t fill it out (or was it that I would be sent to the FEMA camp if I did fill it out?) I sent it back pretty quickly.

I got two additional mailers politely asking that I fell out my Census form. Since I already did, I ignored them.

Friday afternoon, I came home from work and saw a slip on my door saying that a Census worker came to my apartment because I didn’t fill it out. I called the guy and he said “our records don’t reflect that.”

I have no beef with the Census, but I’m not surprised a government run program is making such simple mistakes.

I got a letter saying the form was coming. Got the form, filled it out. Got another form that said I didn’t fill out my form, but if I filled out the form, disregard the form I was reading. Gubment efficientcy. Or not.
