Standards are ideals, and we all fall short of them to some degree. It depends again on how blatantly we fall short and how loudly we point out others who also do so.

And after those “ideal” that we fall short of are pointed out, plain facts, and your “ideals” don’t adjust, then your are willfully sticking to those “ideals,” which in the case we are talking about, the ideals of racism, are wrong.
