‘Conservatives’ are not the problem. The modern GOP and the hijacking of the party by FOX is the problem.

Political violence is not, by nature, more of a part of any of the political spectrum than any other.

I agree — what’s happened to the GOP since Obama’s election has nothing to do with real “conservatism.”

I do not consider myself a “conservative,” but the basic principles of sane conservatism are logically defensible and not really extreme.

The Tea Party, Family Research Council, Andrew Breitbart style of the right wing is not really “conservative” — it’s far, far right. That’s what has taken over the GOP.
