The Chief intelligence officer at the time, George Tenant, stated that it was waterboarding that broke Khalid Sheik Mohammad. That’s good enough for me.
Also, I like to see proof that John McCain said he’d prosecute CIA officers for waterboarding.

And wasn’t KSM waterboarded for, like, 15 seconds or something before he broke?
