That rag is a symbol of treason against the United States of America. It is a symbol of division, of separatism and of white supremacy.

Imagine if the Germans flew the Nazi hakenkreuz flag in front of the Bundestag, claiming “Oh, but it’s just a part of our heritage”; the world would be outraged, and justifiably so.

Some people - like Senator Graham - are either wilfully ignorant or are so blinded by “lost cause” romanticism that they fail to see what’s in front of their very eyes.

Sickening.
