The artists don’t use the kinds of stereotypes that the dufus would recognise. Probably too stupid to understand that 99% of the characters are supposed to be Japanese.

And the stupid whitewashing of live action films based on anime doesn’t help. I _like_ Scarlett Johansson but she should never have been cast as Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell.

Seriously. They couldn’t find any quality Japanese actors or actresses for the same role?
