Lebanon isn’t the focus of an international blockade, self-imposed economic destruction like North Korea or Zimbabwe, mass starvation or drought destroying all the crops (see Africa). Food is widely available and those living in the camps can get all the food they need.
It’s a ginned up controversy to further the agenda of the Islamists. Stoke anger in the camps and among those who are most sympathetic to the Islamists. Rinse and repeat.
