Sigh. I think it’s just crazy to kill yourself running around, spending money you often don’t really have, cooking for hours(days even) for a meal that ends in 20 minutes, and on and on. Though to be honest, I like the cooking, even if it’s just for me, The Husband and The Teenager. I don’t think having a lot of money would even change that for me, not when I see how nasty people are in the stores this time of year, over and over.

It’s very telling the retailers consider their holiday season the make or break for the whole year. Why should it be like that? I don’t think it was like this always, was it?
