You and I disagree on that point. I did have to tell my dad to shift his vote today, as part of my working to get my extended family to vote for Ted Cruz. I want to vote for Rubio, but the numbers don’t lie: He can’t win and Cruz can. So if me and my friends and family want to stop Trump from being nominated, and we do, then voting for Ted Cruz is the only viable option.

Cruz and his father would happily send me and my spouse to prison and take our child as a ward of the state because I am a transgendered woman. That used to be illegal in most states under both homosexuality and “mayhem” laws that Cruz has supported in principle.
