There’s no qualifier needed, either. He really is admired by a very large chunk of the nation as a whole, not just wingnuts. And it’s very important to remember that, to remember that it’s not qualified. Because it’s an indicator of how thoroughly sick and degenerate our society is. That a man like Pillbaugh not only makes millions of dollars a year sitting on his ass spewing trash for three hours a day (and having the gall to deride ‘moochers’ while he’s at it), but that he is actually admired. People aspire to be like him. A VERY large chunk of this country looks at that bloated sack of human filth, and not only are they NOT disgusted by his behavior, they ENCOURAGE it.

Remember this the next time someone tries to feed you a line about ‘American Exceptionalism’.
