Look, is it better for a personality like this to run a couple of blocks in Sherman Oaks, or, say, North Korea? Maybe HOAs are a mechanism to prevent people like this from achieving power on a larger scale.

My mother just loves the HOA that rules over her neighborhood with an iron fist. She didn’t even mind filling out the 55-page spec sheet for my dad’s painting studio that nobody can even see from the freaking street!
